Monthly Photo Challenge: May Flowers

You know what they say: April showers bring May flowers… so for May’s photo challenge I want you to show me your flower pictures.  The hills in Wenatchee have been exploding with Balsamroot, Lupine, and Woolly Sunflower.  It’s the perfect time for flower shots.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Take a photo of a flower using you iPhone, DSLR, instamatic, or whatever you use.
  2. Tag them with #GetOffAutoFlowers on Instagram and Twitter, or post them directly to my Facebook page.
  3. At the end of the month I’ll feature all the photos to share with everyone and critique if you want.

The goal is to challenge yourself to get out and take more photos and improve your photography.  Throughout May I’ll be posting new articles on camera basics, like using aperture to bring attention to your subject, that you can apply to your flower photos.
